GB Taekwondo Olympian. Now Boxer
Jade Jones OBE is a Welsh athlete best known for her outstanding success in taekwondo. She became Olympic champion at London 2012, then defended her title at Rio 2016, making her one of Team GB’s standout Olympic performers. She has also won world and European titles during a career built on commitment, pressure and elite performance.
From a young athlete in Flint to an Olympic champion, Jade’s journey shows what can happen when talent is matched with structure, support and relentless standards. Her achievements go beyond medals. She has helped raise the profile of taekwondo in the UK and inspired young people to believe that success can come from focus, hard work and the right people around you.
Jade’s story also reflects the importance of adapting when the next challenge arrives. After an exceptional taekwondo career, she has taken on a new chapter in boxing, showing the same ambition and willingness to learn that shaped her Olympic success.
We are proud to have Jade as part of our ambassador community. Her journey from double Olympic champion in taekwondo to a new challenge in boxing reflects the ambition, discipline and willingness to keep learning that we value. She shows what sustained focus and confidence can achieve when the pressure is high.
