Richard Groves

Richard Groves is a forward-focused entrepreneur and business leader with a passion for building businesses, developing people and creating opportunities. Starting Active Digital with just £300, it has become a successful communications provider, combining technology, innovation and a strong focus on customer experience.

Alongside Active Digital, Richard is also the founder of Challenge the Road and RG Fisheries, as well as co-founder of JJ Double Gold with Jade Jone OBE. His entrepreneurial journey reflects his belief in turning ideas into reality, embracing challenges and building businesses that create lasting value.

Richard is known for his drive, resilience and ability to see opportunities where others may not. He is passionate about growth and helping people and businesses achieve their potential. Through sharing his experiences at talks and on podcasts, Richard inspires others with the lessons learned from building companies and overcoming challenges.

Outside of work, Richard loves sport and is a loyal Aston Villa supporter. Having represented England at golf during his youth, he continues to enjoy the game alongside his love of fishing at his lakes. He also has a passion for driving and collecting supercars, and most importantly, enjoys spending time with his family, friends and daughters.
