Jo Wimble-Groves

Jo is an entrepreneur, international author, and experienced speaker with a passion for inspiring people and helping organisations create positive change. With over 15 years’ experience as a professional speaker, Jo has built a reputation for her engaging, authentic approach and ability to connect with audiences through practical insights, storytelling, and real-life experience. Jo joined her brother at Active Digital at the age of sixteen after she finished her GCSEs. They have co-owned the business together ever since.

As a recognised voice in her field, Jo was invited to Downing Street for tea with the Prime Minister in 2019 as part of International Women’s Day celebrations, recognising her contribution and impact as a role model for girls in STEM.

Jo is a published author with DK Books, sharing her expertise and experiences to help our next generation develop confidence, resilience, and the skills needed to thrive. Her work focuses on people, communication, leadership, and creating cultures where individuals and teams can reach their full potential.

Outside of work, Jo enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, including her three children and her Cavapoo, Otto. She enjoys playing golf, spending time in the gym and is an intermediate powerlifter, with deadlifting being her favourite discipline.
