Active Digital recently had the pleasure of hosting an exciting SIM racing evening in partnership with Howden Private Client, bringing together clients, partners, and guests for a night of competition, conversation, and connection.
Held at our office, Tatlingbury Barn in the heart of the Kent countryside, Oliver Thompson of Howden and Richard Groves of Active Digital, co-hosted the event and welcomed 15 guests for a racing experience in a relaxed and social setting. Combining cutting-edge simulation technology with great food and drink, the evening struck the perfect balance between entertainment and professional insight. Tatlingbury Barn provided a distinctive backdrop for the event, offering a blend of rustic charm and modern functionality. The venue’s characterful interior created a welcoming atmosphere, ideal for both competitive racing and informal networking. Guests were able to unwind, enjoy the surroundings, and engage with fellow attendees throughout the evening.

At the heart of the event was the SIM racing experience itself. Guests had the opportunity to test their driving skills on professional-grade racing simulators, competing against one another in a series of friendly but competitive races. From seasoned motorsport enthusiasts to first-time racers, everyone embraced the challenge. The immersive nature of SIM racing meant that each participant could experience the thrill of the track, without leaving Kent. Laughter, competitive spirit, and a few dramatic overtakes made for an engaging and entertaining experience for all involved. The format encouraged interaction and camaraderie, with guests sharing tips, celebrating victories, and enjoying the occasional light-hearted rivalry. It was a fantastic way to bring people together in a unique and memorable way.

No successful event is complete without great hospitality, and the evening certainly delivered. Guests enjoyed a selection of drinks alongside freshly prepared pizza, generously provided courtesy of Oliver at Howden. The informal dining setup allowed attendees to relax between races, connect with peers, and continue conversations in a laid-back environment. This combination of high-energy activity and social downtime helped create a well-rounded experience that appealed to everyone in attendance.
