Active Digital Shortlisted for The Workplace Award at the Comms Business Awards 2026

Comms Business Awards 2026

We’re incredibly proud to share some exciting news. Active Digital has been shortlisted for The Workplace of the Year Award at the Comms Business Awards 2026. This recognition means a great deal to us, particularly because it focuses on something we care deeply about: our people, our culture, and the environment we are building together as a team.

The Comms Business Awards 2026 are widely regarded as one of the most respected industry awards within the UK communications and technology channel. Each year they recognise organisations that are not only driving innovation and commercial success, but also setting the standard for excellence across leadership, service, and workplace culture. Being shortlisted for Workplace of the Year is especially meaningful because it reflects more than business performance. It recognises the way an organisation operates internally, how teams are supported, how culture is shaped, and how people are enabled to do their best work.

In a fast-moving and highly competitive industry like communications and digital infrastructure, it can be easy to focus purely on outputs, delivery, and growth. While those elements are important, we have always believed that sustainable success starts with people. When you invest in your team, create an environment built on trust, and prioritise wellbeing alongside performance, everything else becomes stronger as a result. This award shortlisting recognises the importance we place on creating a workplace where people feel valued, supported, and able to grow. That includes how we approach leadership, how we communicate across teams, and how we ensure that everyone feels connected to the wider purpose of the business. Culture is not something that happens by accident — it is something that has to be intentionally built and consistently reinforced.

Over the past year, we have continued to focus on strengthening that culture. Whether through clearer internal communication, more opportunities for collaboration, or simply making space for honest conversations about how we work and how we improve, the goal has remained the same: to build a workplace where people genuinely enjoy what they do and feel proud of the contribution they make.

The winners of the Comms Business Awards 2026 will be announced in July 2026 at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London, where leaders from across the industry will gather to celebrate achievement and innovation across the channel. Regardless of the outcome, being shortlisted alongside such a strong group of organisations is something we are genuinely proud of. It also serves as a reminder that workplace culture is not a “nice to have”. It is a core driver of performance, retention, creativity, and long-term growth. When people feel valued and supported, they do better work, collaborate more effectively, and contribute more meaningfully to the success of the business.

We also want to take the opportunity to recognise our team. This shortlisting is not the result of one initiative or one moment, it reflects the ongoing effort, attitude, and commitment of everyone at Active Digital. Culture is built every day through how people show up, support each other, and how they approach their work. This recognition belongs to them. We are also grateful to our clients and partners for their continued collaboration. Strong relationships outside the business are just as important as those within it, and they play a key role in shaping the environment we operate in.

Being shortlisted for Workplace of the Year is a milestone worth celebrating, but it is also a reminder to keep building, keep listening, and keep investing in our people. For now, we are proud to say thank you to our team, and to share this recognition as a reflection of the culture we are building together at Active Digital. Good luck to all the finalists!
