Connect Over Coffee – Our November Event

Connect Over Coffee

We recently hosted our monthly Connect Over Coffee morning, held at the Active Digital Five Oak Green offices. The event brought together local professionals, clients, and partners for a relaxed morning of networking, fresh coffee, warm sausage rolls, and plenty of conversation.

One of the best parts of the morning was the mix of people who joined us. We saw familiar faces, long-standing clients, partners and members of the local business community alongside individuals visiting us for the very first time. This blend created the perfect environment for new introductions and unexpectedly valuable conversations. It was wonderful to watch people discover shared interests, exchange ideas, and talk openly about business opportunities.

Community has always been a central part of Active Digital’s story. Whether through charity initiatives, business partnerships or local events like Connect Over Coffee, we believe in the value of contributing positively to the world around us. Hosting this networking morning was another meaningful way to support local businesses and create opportunities for people to connect and grow.

Conversations That Spark Collaboration

Throughout the morning of Connect Over Coffee, we overheard conversations about everything from business growth and telecoms strategy to leadership, wellbeing and the challenges many organisations are currently navigating. What was most inspiring was the willingness of attendees to share their insights, offer support and listen to one another.

One of the highlights of the day was a presentation by Chris, a valued member of our digital team. Chris provided an insightful overview of key considerations for companies looking to digitalise their business infrastructure. The focus was on a consultancy-led, customer-centric approach, demonstrating how Active Digital works closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and identify tailored solutions. Attendees gained practical insights into how businesses can harness AI and other digital tools to enhance efficiency, streamline operations, and improve decision-making. Chris’s presentation emphasised that digital transformation is not just about technology but about understanding people, processes, and the strategic goals that drive a business forward.

Many guests commented that the event felt refreshing, an opportunity to network without the pressure. Instead, this was a chance to build relationships that feel authentic and helpful.

The relaxed nature of the event allowed people to speak openly about their needs and aspirations, which led to several new ideas, introductions, and potential collaborations. In a world where time is precious, we are proud to host something that genuinely adds value to people’s working lives.
