Charity Work

Active Digital is proud to support many local, national and international charities.

Our “Giving Back” program supports non-profit organisations, whereby we make donations to a selection of charities on a regular basis. Over the years, we have raised thousands of pounds to go towards truly good causes. For example, we provided funding for a first ever school uniform for all pupils at Llacanora School in Peru.

We have chosen to partner with two charities: Ellenor and Joining Jack. We are passionate about raising as many funds as possible for these as we move forward.

About our Chosen Charities

Active Digital is proud to be part of the Ellenor Business Club. Ellenor is a major provider of children’s hospice care and respite care for babies, children and young adults with palliative and life-threatening care needs. In addition they provide a specialist nursing service to children undergoing cancer treatment.

We became involved with this charity as we were humbled by the work Ellenor do to focus on enabling people to be cared for in their own home and what an amazing difference that makes to the children.

The Business club brings together a group of like-minded business people and professionals committed to giving something back to their community and supporting personalised care at home for children and their families. With support from businesses within the club community, Ellenor Business Club aims to raise £35,000 – a figure which will fund a Specialist Children’s Palliative Care Nurse.

In addition to our involvement in the Business Club, Active Digital Business Director Jo Wimble-Groves is an Ambassador for the charity.

Joining Jack

We were touched by Jack’s story and the charity “Joining Jack” that was started by his parents. Jack suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, which is one of the most common fatal genetic disorders. DMD affects around one boy in every 3,500 in the UK. Sadly, there is still no cure.

Joining Jack is committed to ensuring that the funds raised go towards ongoing treatment and research into a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. They continue to support the fight against DMD in earnest.
