Roundup from Mobile World Congress 2018

108,000 attendees’ 2,300 exhibitors all show casing the newest in next gen and future of mobile & technology that is the MWC. (Mobile World Congress). The MWC has just finished in Barcelona with the world’s leading mobile phone and technological manufactures announcing and demonstrating their newest products. 

Here at Active Digital we take new technology seriously and have been looking at everything MWC had to offer in 2018. Samsung have just announced their stunning S9 and S9+ handsets crammed full of amazing camera technology, faster charging, super slow-motion video recording and on the fly aperture switching to get professional photos with ease.

Sony announced their XZ2 and XZ2 compact with 4K HDR screen so you can watch and download as much HD content as you like, IP68 water and dust resistance a 19-megapixel camera on the rear of both handsets and 4GB of RAM for quick multitasking. Nokia have made waves bringing back the original slide phone as well as some beautiful android based devices like the Nokia 8 Sirocco and Nokia 7 Plus both midrange handsets but great technical specifications for the price and gorgeous design, especially form the Nokia 8 Sirocco.

Asus have taken some of the limelight with their new Zenphone 5 looking very similar in style to the iPhone X but with the functionality of Android as well as the ability to keep your display on by tracking your eyes however we just cannot believe that screen.

Manufactures like Motorola announced their midrange Moto G5 and G5+ with Auto Focus pixels for faster and higher quality photo’s, 3GB of RAM and 5’ Inch screen’s.
